Terms of service.

1. Respect and Responsibility

All members, guests, staff, and service providers at Cowork on the Square deserve a welcoming and professional environment. Members must respect and protect the personal space, privacy, and property of others. Behavior that endangers, injures, interferes with, or invades the rights of others is strictly prohibited.

2. Prohibited Activities

Engaging in prohibited activities may result in termination of your membership and access to the facility. Additionally, legal action may be pursued in cases of severe misconduct. Prohibited activities include:
a. Participating in illegal activities, such as drug use, identity theft, defamation, harassment, or unauthorized use of copyrighted material.
b. Actions that damage or impair the facility, including overloading systems, defacing property, or disrupting services.
c. Abusive behavior or activities that interfere with other members, staff, or guests.
d. Invalidating or increasing insurance costs for the facility.
e. Using the facility for improper, objectionable, or unsafe purposes.
f. Causing or permitting nuisances within the facility.
g. Compromising the facility's safety or infrastructure.
h. Allowing unauthorized access to the facility or your workspace.
i. Violating laws, regulations, or ordinances applicable to the facility.
j. Posting signage or hosting events without prior written consent.
k. Bringing animals without written approval, except for service animals with advance notice.
l. Smoking or vaping within the facility or its grounds.
m. Overloading or obstructing utility lines or equipment.
n. Installing fixtures or equipment that exceed the facility's structural capacity.
o. Activities that harm Cowork on the Square’s reputation or other members, such as engaging in spam or distributing offensive material.

3. Wireless Internet Usage

Cowork on the Square provides Wi-Fi access for lawful purposes only. Prohibited uses include:

  • Sending unsolicited messages or false information.

  • Defamatory, obscene, or harassing communication.

  • Violating intellectual property rights.

  • Engaging in illegal activities or hosting unauthorized file-sharing services.

4. Cleanliness

Members are responsible for maintaining a clean and tidy workspace and cleaning up after using common areas. Routine cleaning of individual workspaces is the member’s responsibility unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

5. Parking

Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Members and their guests must adhere to parking guidelines. Trailers and overnight parking are not permitted without prior approval.

6. Security

Cowork on the Square strives to maintain a secure environment, but members are responsible for their own safety and that of their guests. Follow all security protocols, including:

  • Keeping doors locked and not propping them open.

  • Reporting any safety concerns immediately.

7. Disclosures

Cowork on the Square reserves the right to disclose member information as required by law or for the safety and well-being of the community.

8. Liens

Members must not allow mechanic’s liens to be filed against the facility for work, labor, or services performed at their request.

9. Termination

Cowork on the Square reserves the right to terminate memberships immediately if members violate these guidelines or the membership agreement.
